This painting I began quite a few years ago, then shelved it as it never felt finished and decided to take a break from it. After a little studio remodeling this summer, I found it waiting for me in my painting racks and decided to take another go at it. I didn't make many changes to the lioness' face, but I did change the slope of her back. I also completely changed the background, adding text, collage elements, and added more of the small circle pattern.
