when things seem backwards

Original oil painting.

Unframed, cradled panel sides are finished with clear varnish.
Painting is wired and ready to hang.
Signed, titled and dated on back.

I began this painting by collaging a book page, but it wasn't laying down properly so tried removing it quickly. However, the ink on the back side of the page stuck, and like printmaking techniques, is backwards in the process. I decided to the leave the text as is, and proceeded painting the frog. After painting the frog I decided to leave the text, and finish the painting with the blue splatters.
