DESCRIPTION:
Cephalopods have fascinated me for some time. They have proven to be intelligent and able to problem solve, and most of their neurons are actually in their arms, which can touch, taste, and smell. As I like to contrast realistic images with flat design elements, here I chose to use an 8 armed shape to make reference to the octopus. As I added 5 of these shapes in in a row, I chose to name the painting 48 for the number of total arms (including the octopus).
