A redwing blackbird juxtaposed against collaged map background. Maps are one of the many collage elements that I enjoy using. Maps are something that we use to help us get from point A to point B, whether its an paper map or the map in our smartphone. I like the comparison of maps and the idea of bird migration, and find the symbolism to represent our own journey in life.
