Rhinos have long been one of my favorite animals, and a favorite subject to capture in art. Rhino populations have decreased dramatically during the last 100 years, primarily to habitat loss and poaching.
In this painting, the rhino is depicted with glass horns, metaphorically representing the fragile and delicate nature of rhinos that are hunted for their horns.
Additionally, geometric shapes, including vivid red squares and rectangles, are integrated into the composition, adding a modern and abstract element to the piece.
